Entertainment News: Nadya Suleman on Oprah and black women and black men faceoff on Nightline!

Submitted by musichotspot on April 21, 2010 – 11:31 amOne Comment

Yesterday’s Oprah featured an interesting interview with Nadya Suleman also known to some as Octomom.

My mouth was open the entire show.

I’ve seen a previous interview of Nadya on the View and really had no idea how to take her because she literally cackled throughout it. However, in this interview Nadya was much more reserved and admits she lives in guilt. She appeared reflective and admitted that she was selfish in her actions.

Oprah’s cameras followed Nadya for 24 hours and the footage is interesting to say the least. Nadya along with the assistance of three nannies during the day (she has no help at night) cares for her fourteen children.

There was never a quiet moment even at 2 or 3 am. The house was filled with fourteen month old crying babies,  one with an ear infection, and her older children including a son with autism.

Oprah asked Nadya the tough questions like would she ever put any of her kids up for adoption? ”No. I will do anything in my power to secure on my own.”

And will she name her children’s father? ”It is not my place.”

She says of learning she was pregnant with octuplets, “I never could have conceptualized something like this would happen. I would never have done this on purpose.”

After suffering a heart attack on February 28th and falling into a coma, veteran rapper Guru of the popular old school hip-hop duo Gang Starr died April 19th of cancer related issues. Fans of Guru have questioned the authenticity of a final letter that has shown up on quite a few blogs and is said to be his last words but there has been no confirmation whether the letter is authentic.
